Its pretty easy getting to Squamish, heading
out
West on Highway 1 and
joining the Sea to Sky Highway or Highway 99. It's a bit more
complicated once you're here, but easy enough - just follow these
directions to get there.
Once you reach Squamish go past Cleveland Ave
at the Mcdonalds traffic light and take the next traffic light left
onto Industrial way. (This is at the Tim Hortons)
Go straight down Industrial road and at the
T-junction go right onto Queens way.
Continue along Queensway until it curves left -
and go straight, going over the railway tracks. You are now on
Government road.
Carry on along Government road for about 400m
and look out for the The Spit/Estuary sign indicating you to go Right
onto a dirt road.
Turn left at the T-junction and head down this
dirt road with the Estuary on your left and the Squamish river on your
right. Go for about 4 kms until you reach the Spit.
