Squamish Web Cam



A good indicator of the wind in Squamish can be identified in the temperature gradient from Vancouver (cooler) to Squamish (warmer) to Lillooet (hot).
There does not have to be a huge difference in temperature for the wind to blow, but the greater the difference the stronger the wind.  This gradient is usually established by 
10 or 11 in the morning and builds through the day.
Another indicator of smooth wind is no cloud in the Webcam shots below. Cloud in the south and north often means more gusty conditions.
